Join us in changing the way businesses make payments! is a rapidly growing fintech company with 40% revenue growth and processing around $140 billion in payments annually.We are looking for a Staff Engineer on our Machine Learning (ML) Infrastructure team to solve challenging, data-driven problems by delivering our custom AI solutions to our users, and build scalable and efficient ML infrastructure.In this role you will build great AI products, make complex/time-consuming tasks simple/fast for our customers, make our AI platform/infrastructure highly scalable & performant, solve challenging problems and mentor engineers. As part of the ML Infrastructure team you will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating AI product backend, platform, and ML infrastructure for in AWS. You will apply your ability in architecting/designing and implementing end-to-end solutions in AWS. Candidates should possess good communication, organization/project planning, time management, change management and mentoring skills.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop & deliver critical components, frameworks and services for AI platform and AI products.Develop software/tools/frameworks to analyze, measure, annotate, and organize data at scale for integration within our product, algorithms and systemsWork with key stakeholders to build ML tooling and create standards and best practices for building, integrating, deploying, and operating models.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage existing tools and frameworks and build on them.Help drive the definition of Machine Learning infrastructure to scale Machine Learning practice responsible for the quality of the deliverables done on the team.Own the craftsmanship, reliability, and scalability of your solutions.Be involved in our on-call rotation to monitor and troubleshoot production operations.>Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience8+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environment platformsExperience building, deploying, securing and operating applications and services in AWS2+ years of experience in successfully delivering design and implementation of complex distributed systems, robust, highly scalable, and performant SaaS applicationsExperience with Database design for SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle/RDS/MySql, DynamoDB)Practical experience in developing applications using web services, container technologies and container management systems such as ECS/Kubernetes.Experience with microservice architecture and building micro servicesPossess excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skillsExperience with messaging systems - Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQFluency in Java/J2EE/Go/C#/Python or another similar programming language>Nice to haves:Understanding of the fundamentals of machine learningExperience with machine learning platforms such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or SeldonContributions to open source projectsExperience with search platforms like SOLR, ElasticsearchExperience with data pipelines using big data platforms/tools such as Spark/EMR/ is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
