Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within the Productivity Solutions and Services business at Honeywell. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
1+ year experience with speech recognition software development
6+ years of software development or software engineering experience
2+ years experience with C/C++
2+ years experience with Java, C#, or comparable

WE VALUE

Experience with Honeywell Voice-based products or related technologies.
Customer interaction or equivalent experience.
Experience with managing build processes.
Ability to lead others and own/champion product direction.
Object-Oriented Development Experience
Mobile application development experience.
Ability to support full software lifecycle activities including supporting/addressing customer and field escalations, troubleshooting, and patch releases.
Supply chain experience.
Practical knowledge and use of development IDEs and source code tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Continuous Software Delivery and Deployment
Experience in developing cloud enabled applications using various development tools/systems (eg React, Node JS, Angular JS, jQuery, Git, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, C#, .NET)
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools/practices (eg Jenkins, Bamboo)
Experience with source control and bug tracking tools (eg Git, BitBucket, Jira)
Experience with data analytics and/or machine learning tools.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure services (eg Microsoft Azure)
Knowledge of database technologies (eg SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB)
Experience executing Agile software methodology
Knowledge of test-driven development
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
This position may require occasional travel (domestic & international) as well as being contacted off hours and weekends. A passport will be required.
