By joining our team, you are helping to provide an experience to our stakeholders that delivers on our promises.POSITION SUMMARY:Kemper is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced MLOps Engineer who is passionate about DevOps, cutting-edge distributed cloud computing and automating machine learning workflows.This role will be a key technical leader developing and supporting machine learning model platform components supporting the end-to-end lifecycle; build, deploy, monitor, and retraining. This includes infrastructure provisioning and integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) platforms, using existing and emerging technologies. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience building and moving ML models to production using modern cloud, microservice and event architectures. This person should be comfortable leading innovative projects through design, develop, and support working with Data Science and Analytics teams.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Build and support machine learning model deployment solutions that provide value to the businessDemonstrate up-to-date expertise in software engineering practices and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of machine learning modelsContribute to all aspects of service delivery, including participation in the service readiness process to validate that all required conditions of satisfaction are met prior to project rollout.Collaborate with other DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure teams to implement conformant build/deploy pipelines specific to Machine Learning and Analytic workloads.Participate with software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers within the Scrum Agile processes.QUALIFICATIONS:10+ years' experience delivering technical related services to Enterprise or High Growth Tech Enabled companies3+ years moving large scale data and applications to the Cloud and leading innovative projects to AWS and other cloud providers.3+ years designing and building Java or Python based microservices.Good understanding of Machine Learning techniques and life cycle.Able to implement test driven, contract first REST Services and APIs.Proficiencies in the following languages and technologies: Git Bash, Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Jenkins, Ansible, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.Familiarity and understanding of Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL Databases.Experience working in an Agile team environment with production oriented, incremental release cycles.Positive, constructive collaboration and communication skills.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
