Our client, a well-known global information services company, is actively looking for a Machine Learning Developer to join their Data Science & Analytics team in Costa Mesa, CA! *This role will be 100% onsite - local candidates only*

*This is a 8-month W2 contract with benefits!*

As the Machine Learning Developer, you will be supporting a team that is responsible for delivering actionable insights that promote continuous performance improvements. You will collaborate with this team to resolve the challenges of stakeholders across the business. The team is looking for someone that has a strong background with Amazon Cloud Services and is proficient with Python.

Responsibilities

• Implement end to end ML data pipelines
• Develop machine learning algorithms with huge data sets to solve challenging business questions
• Deploy ML models to applications

Desired Skills

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field
• 2+ years of experience in Data Science or Statistical Modeling using cloud services (AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc)
• Experience with statistical modeling techniques (regression, support vector machines, and neural nets)
• Proficiency with Python or R
• Prior experience with SQL and Spark

The Offer:

• Competitive Pay: Up to $45/hour, DOE
